The first Respiro Media logo was designed somewhere in 2006, before the company
was started. “Looking back, I understand that I made a few interdependent mistakes:
1. I failed transmitting a market-relevant message with the first Respiro Media site,
because it was not properly targetted &
2. I did not succeed in designing a business-relevant logo, as at that point I didn’t
have a coherent picture about my company ...”

The first Respiro Media logo was the result of a much too complicated thinking.
“The will of expressing that Creativity is my business*, the first Respiro Media logo became a conglomerate of symbols:
a pair of wings, a light bulb & a heart, elements which had difficulties in becoming an organic whole. The use of ITC Ronda
was a reasonable** choice as it is a quite well-balanced Web 2.0 font***, even if the right context is imperative for it.”
* Respiro Media slogan
** only reasonable, as some letters [such as “e”] have a questionable graphic balance
*** those days that was the way to go... :)
The redesign process of RespiroMedia.com, as a result of the reevaluation and
reorganization of the activity of Respiro Media, became a ferm foundation and
a healthy context for working on a new logo.
Working for yourself is much more difficult than working for anybody else, just
as giving good advice to others is easier than following it...
The absence of pressure was a good companion for the start of the creative work.
respiro - to breathe again, to take breath; to recover from fear, enjoy a respite*; recover
The role of Respiro Media is to give you a respite* by being a pleasant and reliable partner during our collaboration.
The aim of Respiro Media is to be the right choice for any institution or individual when it comes to design services.
“I started the second Respiro Media logo from the image of the well-known foot notes: from the explanations linked
to a certain word/syntagm by a small star. Using this construction [star & word] I tried to suggest that Respiro Media
is linked to different institutions and individuals through successfully completed projects.
The fluid graphic structure is meant to reveal an organic entity and natural flowing. The use of dots instead of letter “i”
has the role of visualising the meaning of respiro, illustrating by free spaces the comfort and peace given by rest.
The color structure comes to express the flowing I already mentioned, the idea of motion which determines an evolution
from a certain condition to another. The use of colors has to do with the expression of the meaning of respiro, through warm
and calming nuances of pink and purple. The strongest color, black, appears as the ‘conclusion’ of the color scheme.
In the future I intend to use the logo in other color schemes, too, but to keep the color structure: one main colour and two
secondary ones.I think that this logo permits its reinterpretation by different color schemes. There will be one determining
condition for a new color scheme: a graphic context which to ask for it.
Overall, I believe that assuming this logo implies a little bit of madness courage. Why? Because:
1. it’s unusual [by concept and by design]
2. it’s provocative [because it’s unusual...]
3. of the use of dots instead of letter “i” - I assume that this aspect will be the most controversial one... :)
Thank you for stopping by!”

"We were recommended Respiro Media through a business associate. It is very difficult to find a Designer/Design Company that is not only talented and creative, while at the same time good at communicating and taking responsibility for driving the project forward. Respiro Media has all these qualities and it is for this reason that we continue to trust much of our design work in the capable hands of Respiro Media. Furthermore, Zoltan is a thoroughly nice guy!"
